You simply:
Shop - supported by over 13million locations (I live in a very rual area and there are tones of shops around me including Panera, burger king, etc.)
Verify - take a picture of your receipt
Collect - Get punches
Recieve - Get cash/freebies

Pretty much, unless otherwise changed by the merchant, once you get 10 punches at the same location you'll get a check for the average you've spent in the past 10 visits.
